Young Designers Collection: Sekoele Cobalt Yolk (Limited Edition)

Masikane Masike has designed the Sekoele blanket. 

Sekoele Basotho creates a spiritual awareness and a return to the God, Tlhatlha-Macholo. Motse ho hauoa oa morapeli - "the believer’s village is built". It encourages an abidance of spiritual laws.

This will enable the Basotho to prosper. A return to Tlhatlha-Macholo will enable the people to identify themselves, bring rain and help the country prosper and become a great nation.

The Sekoele blanket represents unity through the depiction of the iconic hat and a series of love symbols revealing the hearts of the Basotho.

Fabric: 50% Wool 50% Acrylic

Care: The best way to wash is to hand wash with coarse salt (the salt removes the dirt and keeps the fabric soft). However, it can be washed in the washing machine at a cool temperature - do not exceed 30 degrees Celsius.
